Besides floating gold iceberg, the clothing company I co-own, there are four things that I love. Dogs, kittens/cats, Knitting/spining and baking. Well…and horses, so I guess five things. Oh and My morning Jacket. I like a lot of things, and there is not enough time in the history of the world for me to have and do all the things I want to but I guess I won’t ever be bored.
This is my puppy love gracie, soon to be ‘Can Ch Darkenwalds saving grace’. I just call her ‘poop bum’ for short. She is a purebred English Setter
I’ve been told that she is very calm for an english setter, she is very sweet. She cries when I go to work and gives me hugs when I get home. Last night was our sixth show handling class and she is doing so well! She looks real nice when she stands and has a beautiful gait. I can almost get her to stack properly, she just doesn’t like me to touch her back legs very much.
I made chocolate filled muffins today! They are SO good, you don’t even know. Chocolate, coconut and cinnamon = YUM!
A few weeks ago I finally got a drop spindle and some wool roving and tried for the first time to spin yarn! It was so much fun I’m pretty sure I’m going to get addicted to it. Here is my first hand spun yarn! Isn’t it purty?
